Privacy Statement

DaDesktop is the trading name of NobleProg Ltd., registered in England and Wales. Should you have any queries regarding this statement or how we handle your information, please reach out to us at dd@nobleprog.co.uk

At DaDesktop, we take the privacy of everyone who uses our platform seriously. Below we outline the ways in which we gather and utilise your personal information, together with the steps we take to keep your details safe.

Our Services

DaDesktop can be delivered from a NobleProg Data Centre within the EU through the following setups:

We only gather and process personal information to the degree needed to deliver our services to you, or for the legitimate interests described in this privacy statement. Crucially, the way data is collected and kept varies considerably depending on which hosting solution you select.

NobleProg hosted public server

This type of server sits within a NobleProg data centre (inside the EU – and is GDPR compliant). It is a platform shared among NobleProg clients and can be accessed by NobleProg.

Should you opt for a server situated outside the EU, the laws of the relevant jurisdiction may come into play. Data belonging to customers based in the United Kingdom is held in the UK.

NobleProg hosted private server

This is likewise housed in a NobleProg data centre (within the EU). It is a dedicated server used solely by a single organisation, with no other entity sharing the hardware.

If your chosen server is located beyond the EU, local legislation may become applicable.

On premise server

The server is physically placed on the organisation’s own site. The software is installed on that server, and all information stays entirely under the organisation’s control.

  • Our terms forbid users from engaging in any personal activities, like checking social media, carrying out financial transactions, or doing personal web searches.
  • Once a course has been confirmed as ‘finished’, the associated data is removed.

These recordings are erased 14 days after the course concludes. Only NobleProg administrators holding SuperAdmin privileges are able to view these recordings.

  • The client manages any data that is gathered and stored.
  • Should the need arise, Course Desktops and Recordings may be recorded for troubleshooting and other purposes (refer to Shared Server). The client bears responsibility for these recordings, and due to an automatic deletion routine they are automatically removed after 14 days.

Technical Support

When you get in touch for technical assistance, you will need to supply some personal information – this may include your name, employer, email address, phone number, time zone, and the reason for your support request.
